About Us

The Israel Database Day is an annual national forum for database researchers, practitioners and developers to explore cutting-edge ideas and research and to exchange techniques, tools, and experiences. The conference includes talks, posters and socializing and is an important venue for exposing students to database research in all Israeli institutions.

What is New this Year?

This year we will be expanding to a day of talks on research and practice in both databases and information retrieval, which are important complementary research areas. It will be a prime opportunity to jumpstart new collaborations.

  • Listen to Talks from Leading Experts on Databases and Information Retrieval
  • Meet up-and-coming Student Researchers
  • Enjoy a Keynote Talk from Raghu Ramakrishnan, a pioneering researcher in databases and the CTO of data at Microsoft
  • Socialize with Colleagues while Leveraging the Opportunity to Start new Collaborations
